Organisation profile

Organisation profile

The Adaptive Optics Technology Laboratory focuses on the development of advanced optical and photonic technologies for improved imaging, sensing, and optical communication in challenging environments. The main research areas include adaptive optics, wavefront correction, low-dose imaging, fotometriju, and photonic systems for medical, environmental, and industrial applications.

The laboratory develops both fundamental and applied technologies using deformable mirrors, spatial light modulators, high-sensitivity cameras, and specialized optical measurement setups. Research activities also cover optical communication systems, low-light imaging methods, and the development of novel photonic sensors.
