The Laboratory of Spectroscopy possesses an extensive range of state‑of‑the‑art instrumentation dedicated to characterization of advanced materials. Our work focuses on the development and application of cutting‑edge spectroscopic techniques and methodologies for both fundamental investigations and application‑oriented research in materials science.
High‑quality equipment enables the laboratory to integrate the acquisition and interpretation of spectroscopic data with modern computational tools, such as COMSOL Multiphysics simulations and crystal structure modeling. This integrated approach allows for in‑depth analysis of complex experimental data, helps uncover hidden correlations, and significantly accelerates the discovery, optimization and understanding of new materials.
Beyond standard spectroscopic instrumentation, the laboratory designs and constructs custom experimental devices tailored to specific research questions or collaboration with industry. This versatility enables us to explore novel materials and physical phenomena relevant to optical sensing, nonlinear optics, augmented‑reality and a wide array of emerging photonic applications
