Research interests
I am interested in the application of environmental microbiology to improve various foods and everyday products. This includes work with food-grade Lactobacillus species, biofilms, and bacteria that can be isolated from wastewater and industrial sludge.
I also have a general interest in collecting different bacteria and exploring potential uses for them, using both standardized methods and developing new methods.
