Research interests

Studies of long-term and sesonal changes in the hydrological and hydrochemical regime of inland surface waters, as well as hydrological modelling, are related to sustainable water resources planing and management in Latvia. The conducted studies have analised and evaluated the flows of biogenic elements in river basins; long-term and sesonal changes in the hydrlogical regime (runoff, thermal and ice) and regional differences, are analysed; modeled runoff of Latvian rivers basins under current and future climate conditions.
