Short biography

Guntars Kitenbergs is an associate professor at the Department of Physics of the University of Latvia. His academic work focuses on small-scale physics experiments, with a particular emphasis on soft matter and active matter problems related to microfluidics and magnetism. He has participated in the management and implementation of several Latvian and European scale research projects, including supervising three doctoral theses. He is also interested in physics education and research management.

Research interests

I am interested in making small scale objects to work in our benefit. This includes soft and active matter problems related to magnetism and microfluidics.
