Research interests
Juris Porozovs (Dr.biol.) ir Latvijas Universitātes profesors un vadošais pētnieks. Viņa pētījumu virzieni ir saistīti ar bērnu un jauniešu kognitīvo spēju novērtējumu, dzīvesveida un veselības stāvokļa izpēti un intereses par dabaszinību priekšmetiem izvērtēšanu.
Juris Porozovs pēdējos gados ir piedalījies šādos projektos:
2023.-2027.g. COST (European Cooperation in Science and Technology) projekts No CA22111 – “Eiropas konsorcijs, lai noteiktu, kā sarežģīta, reāla vide ietekmē smadzeņu attīstību” (“A European consortium to determine how complex, real-world environments influence brain development”) (ENVIRO-DEV). Projekta dalībnieks.
2020.-2022. g. LZP projekts Projekta Nr. lzp-2019/1-0152 “Kompleksa novērtēšanas un atbalsta programma, lai samazinātu ar ekrānos pavadīto laiku saistītos veselības riskus pusaudžiem”. Vadošais pētnieks. Projekta galvenais izpildītājs.
2018.-2023.g. COST(European Cooperation in Science and Technology) projekts No CA17127 – “Zinātniskās izglītotības veidošana evolūcijas jomā ar zinātniski atbildīgu Eiropiešu starpniecību” (“Building on scientific literacy in evolution towards scientifically responsible Europeans”). Projekta dalībnieks.
2019.-2020.g. ERASMUS+ Sport project: “Promoting the shift Lifestyle towards Active Ageing (LifeAge). Projekta dalībnieks.
