Short biography

Sanita Reinsone is an associate professor at the Faculty of Humanities of the University of Latvia and Head of the UL Digital Humanities Center. Her academic work focuses on digital humanities, with particular emphasis on digital cultural heritage, participatory research, and citizen science. Her research interests also include folklore narrative studies, life-writing, and digital research infrastructures for the humanities. She has led and contributed to numerous national and international research projects, and serves as Latvia’s national representative to DARIAH ERIC and actively participates in several digital humanities and cultural heritage professional associations.
