Short biography
Dr. Tatjana Glaskova-Kuzmina is a materials scientist and associate professor at the University of Latvia, where she also works as a leading researcher at the Institute for Mechanics of Materials. She holds a Dr. Sc. Ing. degree from the University of Latvia, where her PhD research focused on the experimental and theoretical investigation of thermophysical and mechanical properties of polymer nanocomposites.
Over her career, Tatjana Glaskova-Kuzmina has held academic positions, including assistant professor and lecturer, teaching courses such as Physics in Medicine, Physics of Polymers and Composites, Biomechanics of Human Motion, Biomaterials in Dentistry, and Mathematical Statistics for students in Medicine, Dentistry, and Physics. She also has international experience, including a research engineer position at the Institute for Polymers, Composites and Biomedical Materials in Italy.
Her work has been published in respected journals, advancing polymer science and composite materials.
