N2 - We consider issues related to the next lunar landers, and how they can contribute to an international lunar network, and a lunar global robotic village. We present the results of studies for lunar polar landers conducted at ESA CDF Concurrent Design Facility and follow up activities. The goal is to demonstrate lunar landing, survival and exploration technologies for the future, geophysical network sciences, geochemical studies of the poles, and search for ice in permanent shadows. We describe the top objectives, mission analysis, design and associated lander and rover. We describe the possible payload complement in discussion with the community. We describe the rationale for Lunar Sample Return missions, and discuss some concept studies. Landers allow to test key technologies in the area of instrumentation. Landers and rovers technologies in robotic and human exploration are a drive for the creativity and economical competitivity of our industries. Moon-Mars Exploration with advanced landers and rovers can inspire solutions to global Earth sustained development.
