Abstract

The authors regret <that we failed to include the grant number under which this research has been funded within the Acknowledgments section. Therefore, we would sincerely request that the sentence: “We benefitted from a National Environment Research Council CASE studentship, as part of the EnvEast/ARIES DTP (student number 100248757), partly funded by the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds” be revised to read: “We benefitted from a National Environment Research Council CASE studentship, as part of the EnvEast/ARIES DTP (grant number NE/L002582/1, student number 100248757), partly funded by the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds. We also failed to include a data statement with the original article. Therefore, we would also like to request that this statement be provided here and read: “Due to the sensitivity of the raw data used in this study, site count data for birds across Europe is not openly available. However, data requests can be made to PECBMS (https://pecbms.info/use-of-the-results/data-access-policy/)”>. The authors would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused.
