Abstract

Effects of the Pb(Mg1/2W1/2)O3additive on structure, phase transitions, dielectric and piezoelectric properties of Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3-PbTiO3close to the morphotropic boundary have been studied. The additive is shown to influence the diffuseness of phase transitions, domain structure and peizoelectric properties of the ceramics depending on their structure and morphology.
