Abstract
The peculiarities of the kinetics of a bimolecular reaction A + B → C caused by non-Poisson fluctuations of reagent densities spontaneously produced during a diffusion-controlled reaction are analysed. The asymptotic long-time kinetics is predicted to be n ∝ t- 3 4 (for equal reagent concentrations) contrary to the ordinary law of formal chemical kinetics n ∝ t-t.
