Abstract
Baltic populations are often underrepresented in genomic resources, hindering the interpretation of variants, the calculation of polygenic risk scores (PRSs), and disease estimates. The development of a population-scale reference dataset of Latvian genetic variation may bridge the gap in European genomes by improving imputation and variant interpretation. These benefits are maximised when the dataset is integrated into broader frameworks, such as the Genome of Europe (GoE).
