Abstract

Face-to-face instruction is a time-consuming and difficult method of education. Because crucial human communication techniques like tone of voice, eye contact, body language, and so on are absent when education is done electronically, the difficulty level rises exponentially. Using new and developing technologies to improve education in online and mixed classrooms is at the heart of technology-enhanced learning. Several components are necessary for successful learning and their promotion. Ability of the student, good teaching practices, curriculum content and organisation, assessment, social, cultural, and physical barriers, and so on. It is true that researchers and practitioners who advocate for the appropriate use of technology in teaching and learning are crucial to the success of technology-enhanced learning. Using a wide variety of viewpoints, research, and evidence-based practice, e-learning and e-teaching examine how to best design, implement, and evaluate educational programmes that take place entirely online. Respected practitioners from all over the world, representing a wide range of disciplines and viewpoints, convene at applied e-learning and e-teaching in higher education to facilitate the exchange of valuable infor-mation and ideas related to the improvement of teaching and learning online. Technology in higher education research methods instruction, collaborative learning in multi-professional teams, and online communities of inquiry are all areas that are receiving a lot of attention.
