Abstract

The invention relates to technologies for creating thermoelectric generators using p-type and n-type semiconductor materials. The use of flexible materials expands the possibilities of use, but the disadvantage of existing flexible materials is their poor protection against mechanical and chemical effects.

The aim of the invention is to improve the protection of thermoelectric generators from the effects of the external environment by developing a method for manufacturing an encapsulated p-type thermoelectric composite, which would be ready for integration into the thermoelectric generator required by the user as a module. The aim is achieved by developing a method for obtaining a module of p-type material by encapsulating it on all sides with a thermoelectric semiconductor, including Sb2Te3, a network of modified carbon nanotubes (CNTs), including multi-walled CNTs (MWCNTs), applied to a flexible inert material, including polyimide, substrate. The module is encapsulated on all sides using a non-toxic and non-conductive polymer, including PDMS. The physicochemical and mechanical properties of the resulting flexible p-type thermoelectric composite module, protected from the external environment, ensure the module's wide use in the creation of thermoelectric generators and other technologies that use p-type semiconductor modules.
