Abstract
The physical background of field-induced first-order ferroelectric-paraelectric, antife rroel ectric-ferroelectric phase transitions and diffused phase transition in modified lead-containing perovskite ceramic compositions is discussed. Examination of radiation effects has proven to be useful in finding ways to control the properties of perovskites. Some specific applications of the materials are considered.
