Abstract
Models with internal rotations are now widely used to describe flows of magnetic colloids. Different models have different equations. In a situation of this kind, it is of interest to simulate directly in a numerical experiment the rotational motion of a ferromagnetic particle in the carrier liquid in the presence of a field and random thermal fluctuations and to compare its behavior in the numerical experiment with the theoretical results. In this paper, the numerical simulation of the motion of a ferromagnetic particle is based on Langevin's equations for the rotational motion of a rigid dipole in a magnetic field, neglecting inertia.
