Abstract

After the presentations given at Moon exploration session 2 A, we plan a summary discussion of some of the recent achievements, science and exploration questions and short term development activities . an opportunity will also be given to authors of posters to advertise their poster in brief statements. This will take lessons from the recent missions (SMART-1, Kaguya, Chang' E1 and 2, Chandrayaan-1, LCROSS, LRO, GRAIL). The discussion will introduce also the stage for the oral talks of Moon exploration session 2 B. We give here a background on the science context for lunar exploration from ILEWG and COSPAR Panel on Exploration
