Abstract
Article covers rare bird observations in Latvia with less than 25 records before 2024 and few other rare bird records not mentioned in previous reviews. In 2024 Cetti’s Warbler Cettia cetti as a new bird species was trapped for ringing and Caspian Stonechat Saxicola maurus hemprichii as a new bird subspecies in Latvia was observed. Twelve other species were observed for the second to tenth time.
