Abstract
The invention relates to agriculture and horticulture, more specifically to substances and mixtures for soil improvement for use in agriculture and horticulture. A method is proposed for obtaining a soil substrate containing low-type (25–35%) and high-type peat (20–25%), sapropel (20–25%), clay (6–7%), wood ash (0.20–0.25%), tree bark (5–6%), sawdust (5–6%), straw (6%), hay (0.20–0.25%), husks (0.25–1.0%) and 10–15% moisture. The optimal parameters of the substrate are as follows: pH 6.0–6.5; porosity 50–65%; water capacity 40–50%; N: 200–300 ppm; P: 30–50 ppm; K: 200–300 ppm; Ca: 200–300 ppm; Mg: 50–100 ppm; S: 30–50 ppm; Fe: 5–10 ppm; Mn: 2–5 ppm; Zn: 0.5–2 ppm; Cu: 0.05–1 ppm; B: 0.5–2 ppm; Mo: 0.05–0.5 ppm; density: 0.45–1.0 g/cm³; electrical conductivity 2–3 mS/cm; cation exchange capacity 20–50 meq/100g. This technique is optimized for a wide range of plants and growing conditions, and ensures consistent quality, high nutrient content and reduced environmental impact.
