Abstract

Due to the general development of society, advanced technologies, constantly growing information and globalization, the complexity and dynamics of organizations are also increasing. In times of economic instability, organizations are clearly experiencing a chaotic period in which they try to understand what is going on, try to adapt, learn new technologies, improve, and transform communication channels and train people to share information. Such changes usually also affect the operation of the organization, often with increasing complexity. Today's business environment is characterized by complexity. Modern research shows that organizations and managers are not ready for situations that require decisions and solutions to different situations that occur simultaneously. As organizations become complex systems, the structure of information flow has also become complex. It is therefore necessary to identify information resources that could be used more effectively to increase information productivity. The aim of this study is to analyze different perspectives and identify trends, namely how increasing complexity affects the ability to share information in teams, given that organizations are now beginning to realize themselves as complex, adaptive yet flexible systems with a highly interconnected relations, which could be described as an ecosystem. Although complex adaptive systems can behave chaotically, they are self-organized and spontaneous. They are driven by change. Tasks of the study were to analyze how to ensure sustainable growth in an environment where uncertainty, complexity and rapid change are the norm, and how to learn and integrate extensive information to share in teamwork and common goals. The research was undertaken in the form of an in-depth interview about the aspects of organizational complexity in team management and the acquisition and application of information in a team. The research showed that the conditions governing business have changed and, as they become more complex, generalizations no longer work. The team leader must be well acquainted with the context of the situation. Sharing information in teams becomes more difficult, in a complex context it becomes more difficult to find the right information, because every situation can become an exception.
