Abstract

The invention relates to microbiology and biotechnology, specifically – a method for determining the amount of ethanol enzymatically synthesized by yeast cells immobilized on the surface of a functionalized carrier by spectrophotometry and microscopic analysis of the specific cells. The invention provides for spectrophotometric determination of the amount of ethanol enzymatically synthesized by yeast cells Saccharomyces cerevisiae after immobilization of the cells on the surface of a functionalized carrier, which helps to determine the amount of ethanol enzymatically synthesized by a controlled amount of cells, which is useful in the process of ethanol production or determining the physiological state of the cells.
