A qualitative exploratory research approach was adopted in both a Western context (Lithuania and Latvia) and an Asian context (Taiwan). This qualitative research, involving an analysis of secondary data and a cross-national comparative analysis, provides a theoretical and practical basis for understanding resilience in FBs, particularly highlighting the contribution of dynamic managerial capabilities in organizational resilience and successful succession planning in FBs.",
