Kopsavilkums

A novel red emitting fluoride phosphor K2LiInF6:Mn4+ was synthesized by a cation exchange route. An increased blue shift in its emission spectrum was observed. This anomalous phenomenon can be attributed to the nephelauxetic effect and different interionic distances between the cations and ligands. Dependence of the emission intensity of Mn4+ on its concentration was investigated to optimize the luminescence properties of the prepared phosphors and the structure and morphology of the phosphor are studied in detail. The exchange charge model of the crystal field was used to calculate the crystal field parameters. The temperature-dependent emission spectra were measured to ascertain the thermal stability and the chromaticity shift of KLIFM.
