Kopsavilkums
The experimental investigations of the electric field effect on the processes of soot formation and deposition are performed with the aim of achieving the electric control of fuel decarbonization and to reduce the levels of CO2 emissions in pollutants. The field-enhanced mass transfer of hydrocarbons and local variations of the rates of fuel combustion and soot formation are observed by varying the negative bias voltage of the central electrode. The local variations in a rate of soot formation vary a rate of soot deposition and carbon sequestration of the flame. The peak value of carbon deposition and fuel decarbonization is achieved in a range of U = 0.6-1.2 kV.
