Kopsavilkums
The build-up formation (clogging) is one of the processes which reduces the life-time of the inductors of the high-power induction channel furnaces (ICF). There is no generally accepted theory describing properly the mechanisms of the multi-component clogging. The theoretical basis for the build-up formation via the molecular crystallization is developed in the present paper which shows the role of temperature and hydrodynamical fields in the build-up formation. The closed mathematical model is developed for the channel of ICF on the above basis and consideration of the buoyancy driven transit flow being responsible for the heat exchange with melt bath.
