Technology-enhanced learning (TEL) is increasingly integral across educational levels, driven by advances in digital technologies such as AI, VR/AR, and adaptive platforms. However, this rapid digitalization raises sustainability concerns, including environmental impacts, social equity, and cognitive well-being. Here is analyzed the multifaceted sustainability of TEL through pedagogical, technological, and socio-ethical lenses, synthesizing research on immersive simulations, inclusive digital transformation, social robotics, gamification, and digital leadership. The paper highlights that sustainable TEL requires didactically grounded practices, energy-efficient technologies, ethical data use, and fostering digital literacy and well-being. The integration of technology must support deep learning, accessibility, and social responsibility to avoid cognitive overload and exclusion. These findings suggest that aligning TEL with sustainable development principles can enhance educational equity, effectiveness, and resilience, contributing to the long-term sustainability of education in a digital era.
