Kopsavilkums

When developing a wireless sensor network or embedded device debugging and testing is a time consuming and complex process. It involves tedious routine works, especially when testing is done in real-world environment. To make things worse, simulations and emulations are not sufficient for deployment of new embedded devices, since they are too far from ever changing real world conditions. Some of those problems are solved by testbeds, allowing to increase the prototyping speed by quite a margin, but testbeds still operate in some-what semi real-world conditions due to limited mobility of testbed nodes. In this paper authors present an approach to provide testbed functionality in real-world environment without making any sacrifices on functionality. Authors provide the implementation and evaluation of mobile nodes proving that they can be used to prototype embedded devices in actual real-world scenarios while using all the functionality a stationary testbed provides.
