Shear testing of textile composites has been performed by the asymmetrical four-point bend. It is revealed that the effect of the parameters of notch shape on the shear strength is not significant. The width effect of this composite materials on shear strength is estimated. Although the textile composite did not demonstrate a width effect, the size of the unit cell must also be taken into account when testing the specimens.
