Kopsavilkums
The structure and properties of substituted benzanthrones are increasingly being studied, and such information is important for future applications of benzanthrones derivatives in various fields. In this study, the structure and thermal stability of chromium complex of 3-N-(N’,N’-di methylacetamidino)benzanthrone were analyzed using thermogravimetry - differential thermal analysis (TG-DTA), Fourier transform infrared and Raman spectroscopy. To determine the kinetics parameters at multiple heating rates: 2, 5, 10, 20, and 30oC/min, the Flynn-Wall-Ozawa method was used. The thermal degradation processes in the nitrogen atmosphere were analyzed using a TG-DTA equipment coupled with a FTIR spectrometer. The obtained results indicate that the investigated benzanthrone derivative starts to thermally decompose at about 400oC in several stages with the emission of a number of gaseous compounds, including CO2, CO, and H2O.
